Completely new design

The completely new design of the optical system includes seven elements in six groups, including an aspherical element for amazing image quality. The special silent mechanism (SWM) ensures discreet but high-precision autofocus. Compatible with Nikon FX format D-SLRs, it offers a focal length of 75mm (equivalent) when used with Nikon DX format DX SLRs.
